Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to support Dr. Andrew Ciancimino exclusively in a well-established internal medicine practice. This outpatient role focuses on adult primary care and offers the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients while working closely with an experienced internist.
This position is ideal for an APP who values collaborative practice, continuity of care, and delivering high-quality internal medicine services in a supportive office-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine care under physician collaboration
+ Conduct new patient visits, follow-up appointments, and routine sick visits
+ Manage chronic medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, obesity, and thyroid disorders
+ Perform preventive care services, including annual physicals and Medicare wellness visits
+ Order, review, and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies
+ Prescribe medications in accordance with New York State regulations
+ Educate patients on disease management, preventive care, and lifestyle modification
+ Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and ancillary services
+ Ensure timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
+ Support quality initiatives and evidence-based internal medicine practices
Qualifications
+ Licensed Nurse Practitioner in New York State
+ National board certification required
+ BLS/ACLS/DEA
+ Prior experience in internal medicine or adult primary care preferred (new graduates with strong clinical training will be considered)
+ Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and diagnostic skills
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
+ Commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care
Salary Range
USD $69.47 - USD $93.00 /Hr.
